The Fort Frances Power Corporation is a private corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, whose shareholder is the Town of Fort Frances and is regulated by the Ontario Energy Board. Fort Frances Power Corporation (FFPC) is a local distribution company which distributes electric power to the Town of Fort Frances, Ontario. The Town is located approximately 300 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, approximately 250 km east of the Manitoba Border and is adjacent to the Town of International Falls, Minnesota. FFPC provides electrical service within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Fort Frances. What's New New Electricity Pricing Begins June 1st, 2020 for Time-of-use Customers Effective June 1 st , 2020, the price for electricity used at all hours of the day is set at 12.8 cents/kWh. This applies to utilities and unit sub-meter providers for customers on time-of-use pricing. The Ontario government announced that this pricing will be in effect from June 1 st to October 31 st , 2020. This is the price that appears on the electricity line of your bill and is only for the electricity you use. It does not include other charges like delivery.
